Get the perfect at-home mani with Orosa Beauty

It's time to start skipping the salon and taking your manis into your own hands! With Orosa Beauty and Pure Cover Nail Paint, you can create the perfect manicure at home. All you need to do is follow these next few steps from nail artist Amy Tran to do it.

First, begin by cleansing your nails with nail polish remover. This step will help to remove any old polish or dirt that may be on your nails.

Next, use your Pure Shape Nail File to file down your nails to your desired length and shape. Make sure that you are filing your nails from corner to center and ensure that you are filing in one direction. Filing your nails back and forth can weaken your nail and cause peeling.

Once your nail shape is looking good, you can opt to apply cuticle remover (skip this step if you want!) and let it sit for a few seconds. Once done, grab a wooden stick or metal cuticle pusher and gently push back your cuticles to create the perfect canvas for your polish. Wash your hands once you’ve completed this step.

Step 1: Cleanse your nails with remover

Step 2: File & shape your nails

Step 3: Push back your cuticles

Time to buff! This step should not be done with every mani you do at home. Over-buffing can damage your nails and weaken them. Take this slowly and gently, and then cleanse your nails with some remover one final time.

Now, go ahead and apply Pure Stick Base Coat to your nails and allow it to dry fully.

Once your base is dry, choose your favorite shade of Pure Cover Nail Paint. Open the polish and wipe off one side of the brush so you have the perfect amount of polish to apply with. The wide, cuticle-hugging bristles of our brush mean clean lines with every mani! Begin by painting the first stripe down the center of your nail, and follow by polishing the sides after that. Also make sure that you are capping the free edge to help your mani wear longer. Apply a second coat if needed once the first coat is completely dry.

If you get any polish on your skin while painting, you can go in with a brush and some nail polish remover to clean up. You can also use some folded up paper towel or a pointed cotton bud for this.

Step 4: Gently buff your nails

Step 5: Apply Pure Stick Base Coat

Step 6: Apply 1-2 coats of
Pure Cover Nail Paint

Now, go ahead and apply your top coat of choice. Pick Gel Shine Top Coat for glossy, gel-like dimension, or Matte Cover Top Coat for a mattified, modern look. Make sure that you are floating your top coat across the nail rather than dragging it with heavy pressure.

Finally, apply cuticle oil to moisturize and there you have it! The perfect at-home mani with Orosa Beauty. Make sure to post your looks to Instagram and tag @orosabeauty and #PaintYourPersona so we can check them out!
